Project Management


Southwestern Oregon Workforce Investment Board (SOWIB)

Traditional Health Worker Training Program, September 2022 - Present

SOWIB received an Oregon Health Authority (OHA) grant to train over 80 Traditional Health Workers in Coos, Curry, and Douglas Counties in rural and underserved communities. Carrie Prechtel Consulting serves as the contracted project manager for the training program.

Activities include:

  1. Grant reporting

  2. Collaboration with three regional Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs)

  3. Convening of partners

  4. Acquisition and coordination of training partners

  5. Co-management of advisors

  6. Project sustainability

  7. Data collection 

  8. Tracking for outcome success

Clackamas County Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC)

School Outreach Officer Services Evaluation, January 2023 - June 2023

Carrie Prechtel Consulting led the engagement of stakeholders for an organizational assessment of the School District Outreach Officer Program. Josephine County has School Outreach Officers (SOOs) placed in each high school focusing on intervention and prevention for youth.

Activities included: 

  1. An organizational assessment that identifies the systems, structures, and best practices to facilitate change 

  2. The facilitation of multiple stakeholder conversations and the distribution of a feedback survey

  3. A synthesis of results and prioritized recommendations from the organizational assessment and stakeholder engagement process

Inclusive Services Program Evaluation, August 2023 - Present

Carrie Prechtel Consulting co-led with Common Thread in evaluating Inclusive Practices in the Willamette Education Service District region, strategizing with critical partners who are working with students and families to provide inclusive services.

Activities include:

  1. Establish Affirmative Topics for Analysis

  2. Conduct Key Partner Appreciative Interviews & Surveys

  3. Facilitate WESD Work Session to Interpret Findings

  4. Produce Final Analysis Materials (Executive Summary, Analysis, Slides)

Organizational Assessment, March 2023 - June 2023

Carrie Prechtel Consulting helped identify areas for strengthening and expanding Clackamas County Women, Infants, and Children (CCWIC) services.

Activities included:

  1. An organizational assessment that identified the systems, structures, and best practices to facilitate change

Oregon Infant Mental Health Association (ORIMHA)

Community Engagement and Communications Planning, February 2023 - December 2023

Carrie Prechtel Consulting was the lead for developing ORIMHA’s community engagement and communications plan for broadening awareness of ORIMHA services and resources.

Activities included:

  1. Develop a Community Partner Relationship Management (CPRM) platform

  2. Develop outreach to community partners for engagement, insight and support of services

  3. Develop a dashboard with a timeline and methods of outreach for communication, including surveys and focus groups

Oregon Infant Mental Health Association (ORIMHA)

Balanced Scorecard Work Plan, February 2023 - December 2023

Carrie Prechtel Consulting assisted in the evaluation of the ORIMHA program including services, resources, and training offered.

Activities included:

  1. Appreciative Inquiry process

  2. Development of Balanced Scorecard

  3. Presentation to ORIMHA Board and stakeholders for input

Josephine County Prevention & Treatment Services

Opioid Prevention Summit, January 2023 - June 2023

Carrie Prechtel Consulting was the lead event planner for hosting an Opioid Prevention Summit for Josephine County partners and residents. This involved over a hundred participants with national, regional, and local guest speakers

Activities included:

  1. Coordinate presenters, vendors, and location logistics

  2. Develop promotional materials

  3. Develop participant information packets and website

  4. Emcee event

Group Coordination


Josephine County Prevention & Treatment Services

Josephine County Community Prevention Partners Collaborative, June 2023 - Present

Carrie Prechtel Consulting is the project manager for transitioning the Opioid Summit engagement into a permanent Josephine County collaborative that will focus on prevention and treatment strategies, funding, and awareness.

Activities include:

  1. Develop a comprehensive project plan of key activities, milestones, and a project timeline to support the overall project goals

  2. Facilitate the launch of the Josephine County Community Prevention Partners group, pulling in partners brought together by the Josephine County Opioid Prevention Summit and others wanting to share in prevention efforts

  3. Convene hybrid meetings, take minutes, and communicate meeting actions and goals to the partners

  4. JCCPP Charter development
